CBBC CBBC RM94's Hyperfixations
What is it?

CBBC is the children-targeted strand of the BBC, which channel first launched in 2002 alongside it's younger counterpart, Cbeebies. The channel also provides in-vision continuity links and also imports British-owned children programming.

When did you develop an interest to it and how?

I first got into the channel in around 2009-2010, alongside my sister who was also obsessed with Tracy Beaker. I was naturally pulled towards the more animated shows of CBBC, those being Shaun The Sheep, Arthur, Danger Mouse and Roy.

Why does this interest me in general?

CBBC is one of those channels that practically everyone in the UK has grown up or have heard of. It's consistently playful branding and their level of quality that's on par with most other BBC programs is a sight to behold. Not only that, but the channel has gone to produce programs which have become firm icons within UK Kids culture, such as Shaun the Sheep, Tracy Beaker, Horrible Histories and Dennis The Menace. This channel was my true childhood growing up and such where the same to many others. Hope it stays the staple of UK Kids TV for many years to come.
