E4 is one of the first sister channels to Channel 4 that first aired in 2001. The channel shows a mix of original comedy and imported entertainment programmes from Hollyoaks, Celebs Go Dating, The Inbetweeners, The Big Bang Theory and Friends.

Despite being at the back of my mind for a long while, I first recall watching a ton of E-Stings back in my early days of discovering the internet and being amazed by the sure creativity that each bumper / ident has to offer. It felt really open-sourced.

Right down to it's first rebrand, I don't think there has been another channel that has been open to more expressive creative freedom than E4. Each promotion and ident that is handcrafted by animators, artists and actors alike has been beyond amazing and has produced an atmosphere of witty banter and hillarity that I can't even comprehend. The presentation is also well produced, as the 2001 logo has become a massive integral part of UK-Ident history. All in all, this channel is worth watching just for the branding alone, even if the shows are just 7/10 at best.
