Everyone knows about what Nickelodeon is. If not, then it's a kids entertainment powerhouse owned by Paramount with an focus on animated shows and live-action sitcoms, most notable ones being Spongebob, iCarly, Victorious and many others.

I was an avid watcher of the UK feed of Nickelodeon back in 2009, during the Scribble and Imagine era. The logos and iconography of the brand really impacted my ideology of brand recognition as a youngang and is a massive inspiration to me.

Nickelodeon felt a lot more like a brand to me. It felt like a community of people who shared similar issues like me. People who don't fit in and were weird for standing out. Nick felt like a comfort space to relax and do what you want to do that makes you feel happy, or makes you, you. Who cares if it doesn't make sense, it's proudly weird! And even though the UK feed fell into automation hell, I still find it a massive reason on how it shaped me as the person I am today. Just know, If you hear that catchy 13-note melody, you know you're in for a good time.
