TeleMadrid is a public television broadcaster in the city of Madrid, Spain. Housed within the the larger Radio Televisión Madrid (RTVM) network, also containing its' sister channel LaOtra and radio station OndaMadrid, it serves local content about life, sports, and politics.

In winter of 2025, I discovered the channel through its audio branding and unique graphics. I became fascinated with the atmoshphere of the branding style and the oddly rythmitic logo that it oddly stuck to me. Feels like a branding style I'd totally do if I had the chance to make.

I became oddly fascinated by the soundscape of the channel, being all futuristic sounding with a mixture of xylophones, celestas, marimbas, percussion instruments and for LaOtra's case, the Madrid Organ. I dunno, all the sound effects used with the visuals kinda gives it a nice kinetic oomph towards the visuals, its something that tickles my designer bone with glee. LaOtra's another case of this due to it introducing trippy esque patterns that I think the added organ elevates the psychadelic vibe of the branding towards. This hyperfixation is an odd one cause I really don't have much to comment on about it, it's just a really effective visual and audio style.
